 WHAT? ACADEMICS & MORE
This four-week summer program consists of two weeks of classes accompanied by two weeks of practicum on the field with individual missionaries. Students are involved in pre- and post-field work. Taught by either qualified missionary personnel with terminal degrees, seasoned CBTS faculty, or both; the Study Abroad courses are missions related, culturally relevant, and historically significant. The total time invested is equivalent to a 14-week semester and is worth six credit hours.

The two classes scheduled for the summer 2008 Study Abroad are 1) European Catholicism and 2) Reaching the Post-Modern World for Christ.
 WHAT? MINISTRY
Students will be exposed to a variety of ministries underway during their visits even if they cannot directly participate due to language barriers:  church services, youth ministries, camp, university outreach, Bible college teaching, ministry mentoring, etc.

Students will be paired with specific missionaries for the two weeks of the ministry practicum.  As much as possible, the Study Abroad program will attempt to provide practicum locations tailored to individual's desires.

Language will not be an impediment to your overseas experience. Practicums can be customized to your foreign language skills.
 WHAT? SIGHTSEEING
The academic and practicum schedule will include opportunities to see Europe.
